Summer School Dates: Monday through Thursday from July 10th – August 3rd. Some hours will be available starting July 6th th for pre-summer planning and training. All trainings and meetings will have a virtual option.
Paraprofessional Hours: 5 hours per day
Student Level: Students entering grades 6-8 in Fall of 2023
Performs intermediate human support work providing alternative education and basic skills instructional services to students in general instruction or in a specialized subject or assigned group of subjects, motivating students to develop skill in assigned subject matters while supporting appropriate conduct, speech and attire, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Teacher.
Education and /or Experience:
High school diploma or GED and minimal experience working with school aged children, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates/Technical degree preferred.
Must hold AA/AS degree, completed 60 semester credits, approved competency portfolio or pass MN Parapro test
