Summer School Teacher – Targeted Services (2 positions)
 Dates:
June 17, 18, 20, 21 (completed PreK-3) NO CLASS JUNE 19
July 8-11 (completed grades 1-4)
July 29-August 1 (completed grades 1-5)
 
Times:
8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (student day)
7:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. (teacher duty time)
*4 hours prep time prior to first school day of each session
 
Application Process:
Internal candidates are asked to submit an email expressing interest and indicating which session(s) you prefer.
 
Other interested individuals wishing to apply for this posting must submit a letter of interest, copy of licensure, and resume. Upon hiring, you will be asked to complete the application. According to the Master Agreement, the School District reserves the right to ensure the most qualified person is placed in the position. Qualifications:
– Appropriate licensure for specific position.
 
Duties:
– Provide instruction that reduces skill regression and shortens recoupment time of skills for students
– Plan reading, writing, math, and a fun enrichment activity for each day
– Each 1-week session will be thematic and independent of the others (apply for 1, 2, or 3 sessions)
– Age groups will be students who have completed PreK-3, grades 1-4, and grades 1-5.
– Communicate with parents and/or guardians on progress of students
– Students qualifying for targeted services will be invited to attend first, then it will be offered to any students looking for the experience up to 20 students
