Summer School Teacher – Special Education Extended School Year “ESY” (2 positions)
 
Position: Teaching ECSE, DCD, LD/OHI/ASD, and SLP
 
Dates:  
July 8-12
July 15-19
July 22-25 (4 days only)
 
Times:
8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (student day)
7:45 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (teacher duty time)
*4 hours prep time prior to July 8
*SLP position is HALF of the other summer teaching positions.

According to the Master Agreement, the School District reserves the right to ensure the most qualified person is placed in the position. Qualifications:
– Appropriate licensure for specific position.
– Experience teaching students with special needs
 
Duties:
– Carry out maintenance goals related to Individual Education Plans
– Communicate with parents and/or guardians on progress of students
– Provide instruction that reduces skill regression and shortens recoupment time of skills for students
