Description:  ISD 15 St. Francis is currently accepting applications for individuals interested in being on the District Nutrition Services Substitute List (on-call and at-will).

Job Summary:  Serving food to students; preparing or portioning food for service; working in dishwasher areas, storeroom, cooler, and freezer areas; other duties as assigned by manager including lunchroom monitoring duties or transporting food in Nutrition Van (see next description).  

Transporter Duties incluce:  Driving the Nutrition van to transport food items to schools according to delivery schedule.

Monitoring Duties include:  Monitor students in cafeteria; resolve minor student behavior issues; encourage students to eat their food; keep cafeteria orderly while promoting a clean, safe, and pleasant student dining experience; monitor self-serve salad bar, condiment table, and food waste/recycling bins for safety and sanitation issues; ensure safety in cafeteria by removing safety hazards immediately; wipe cafeteria tables; restock milk coolers.

Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent required by end of probationary period; capable of performing the tasks listed in preceding job summary.

Rate of Pay:  $16.50 kitchen/cafeteria/lunchroom, $17.94 transporter
