Applicants will need a Bachelor’s degree to apply, but Teachers on Call, in partnership with Edina Schools, will assist applicants in obtaining a Short Call Substitute Teaching license issued by PELSB, the Minnesota teacher licensing standards board. If you hold a Bacherlor’s degree and enjoy teaching and helping students learn, please consider joining Teachers on Call as a Substitute Teacher!Â
Position Requirements:
- -A current Minnesota teaching license is required to be a Substitute Teacher.Â

- A four-year college degree which meets the requirements to apply for a Short Call Substitute Teaching License. If you have a 4-year degree, you can reach out to the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) to learn about the requirements needed to receive your Short Call Substitute Teacher license. This license will permit you to provide daily substitute teaching services in a Minnesota school district.
