Description

The Fergus Falls Public Schools is a great place to spend your time serving students and being involved in our community’s future. We currently seeking candidates to serve as substitute classroom teachers. This is an on-call position utilizing the Frontline Absence Management System/AESOP substitute management system for vacancy postings.

Requirements: 

  • Must possess a valid Minnesota teaching license OR have the ability to obtain one
    • Please attach a copy of your MN Teaching License to your online application.

    • If you have any questions about the short-call substitute licenses, please email pelsb@state.mn.us or call 651-539-4200 Tuesday-Thursday from 9am-12pm. 

All new substitutes will be invited to attend an onboarding meeting, where additional information will be shared. Candidates will also need to complete new hire paperwork, along with a criminal background check.

Paid in half day of $85; or full day of $170.

Background Check Upon Conditional Offer: Background checks are conducted upon receiving a conditional offer. Employees must complete a background check and are responsible for the background fee. A passing background is required.  Criminal convictions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
