Substitute nutrition service workers are an important part of our learning community as they prepare and provide students and staff with nutritious meals. We offer flexible schedules and plenty of free smiles from our students and staff.Â

Days/Hours:Â Student Contact Days; Hours vary by Building; Generally 3 Hour Shifts
Salary: $15.00/hr.
Responsible To: Nutrition Services Site Manager & Nutrition Services Director
Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent. Training is provided on the job.
Job Description: The Nutrition Services Substitute position assists in the routine work that involves the preparation and serving of food and cleaning of kitchen equipment, tableware and dishes, serving areas and the food storage areas. To be considered for the position you must accept telephone calls from Nutrition Services Managers between 6:30 – 7:30 a.m., be available to work at all sites, and be able to do lifting within limits established by the District. The person must demonstrate good customer service and work safely and cooperatively with staff and students.
