WORK CALENDAR:  260 day Calendar

CLASSIFICATION:  B-3-1

SALARY:  $49,031 – $54,682  (Prorated based on start date.)

Job Summary: 

  • Third Party Billing
    1. Coordinate on-site training and technical assistance to providers involved with Third Party Billing, including large group trainings and site visits with individual providers (e.g., Speech-Language Pathologists, Nurses, Occupational /Physical Therapists, and Paraprofessionals).
    2. Develop systems that identify all possible billable services that result in generating revenue.
    3. Track timely submission of Third Party reimbursement claims on IEP software and follow up with staff as needed.
    4. Provide consultation and support regarding compliance with Third Party Billing requirements.
    5. Provide data for budgeting and annual reports.
  • Student Plans Support
    1. Provide support to staff in all aspects of IEP technology.
    2. Trouble shoot issues and offer technical assistance to staff.
    3. Liaison between staff and the Student Plans help desk.
  • Extended School Year Support
    1. Data entry of student information required for Extended School Year.
    2. Tracking of student registration, IEP services and classroom placement.
  • Any other duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications: 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills at a level to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Possess or willing to learn office technology skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database software, desktop publishing, and webmaster.
  • Ability to understand, investigate, interpret, verity and resolve problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize while under pressure, work with frequent interruptions, and work independently.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Willing to be an active and positive member of the Student Services Team.
  • Provide support tas needed to district staff and the public.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations.
