Pursuing Academics and Character Together (PACT) Charter School, a Minnesota K-12 public charter school, has an opening for a Student Center Coordinator at our Secondary Campus.

Position Summary
Facilitates and monitors the Student Center following PACT Charter School’s guidelines, monitoring students taking online courses, PSEO, and study halls, coordinates RTI scheduling and functions as lead lunchroom monitor.

Basic Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acts as a resource to teachers and monitors students in the Student Center including PSEO, study hall,online courses and more.
  • Monitors students working on individual study projects, to ensure students remain on task.
  • Evaluates and monitors the history/pattern of Student Center used by students and staff, providing information to administration when necessary.
  • Coordinates and monitors the Responsive Scheduling in Infinite Campus to support the RTI and enrichment opportunities during Panther Plus hour.
  • Monitors hallways and directs students during passing times.
  • Monitor students in the lunchroom to maintain a safe, sanitary and orderly lunchroom environment. This position is responsible for monitoring student behavior, addressing traffic flow in the cafeteria, working with custodial and lunchroom staff to clean and sanitize the tables, and addressing safety issues as they arise.

Other Responsibilities

  • Assists, as needed, the Principal and Assistant director with student data reporting including FASTBridge,
  • IXL and grades reports.
  • Assists, as needed, the Assistant Director of Education and Activities Director and Dean of Students in implementing disciplinary procedures consistent with federal and state laws and school policies.
  • Assists, as needed, the Assistant Director of Education and Activities Director and Dean of Students to establish and support teachers and staff in implementing a school-wide discipline plan.
  • Act as a floating substitute as needed and when students are not scheduled in the Student Center.

 

  • This is a part time, school year position.  
  • The hours are 7:30 am until 3:30 pm on student contact days + 3 additional days
  • Pay is dependent upon experience.  Starting pay $18.00 – $20.50 (Step/Lane)
  • Benefits include: Health insurance with an HSA and dental insurance are available for part time employees, enrollment into PERA and PTO/ESST

The PACT Secondary campus will be located between Central Park in Ramsey and the St. Katharine Drexel Church property. The address is 7729 161st Ave NW, between Armstrong Blvd NW and Variolite Street NW. The parcel has a beautiful line of trees and wetlands and provides a gorgeous backdrop for the new Secondary Campus. Many parks and an extensive trail system are readily accessible and connected by a network of trails that link The COR to the regional parks and trail system. Many people have chosen to live in Ramsey because of its rural character, wetlands, wildlife, and housing choices. U.S. Highways 10/169 and State Highway 47 are two main routes. Northstar Commuter Rail stops in Ramsey and runs to and from downtown Minneapolis.
