Job Purpose/Position Summary:
- Database System Administrator
- Program Assessment Coordinator
- Adult Basic Education (ABE) State Reporting Manager
Salary:
Class III $24.27 – $27.24
DUTIES:Â
Database Management:
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and completeness through regular data checks for learning management systems
- Oversee the accurate and timely entry of participant information
- Develop and implement efficient data processing procedures
- Ensure compliance with data privacy policies
- Generate reports on program performance, participant demographics and other measurable gains
- Tops Pro maintenance
Assessment:
- Coordinate the scheduling and administration of assessments for adult education participants to include creating new test sessions, upload new students and tests and roll-over proxy students to new program year. This includes in-person testing and remote testing.
- Ensure a smooth and organized process for test-takers, providing support and guidance to the registration team as needed
- Oversee the secure handling and distribution of assessment materials
- Generate comprehensive reports detailing individual and group performance
- Stay informed about adult education best practices, assessments and technologies
Testing and Support:
- Train program support staff on proper data entry procedures and best practices
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff members
- Lead the registration team by planning/coordinating testing schedules and assisting the team as needed
Other:
- Attend All Staff meetings
- Member of Building Leadership Team
- Attend Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) manager meetings and webinars
- Other duties as assigned
- M/W evening and Saturday hours as neededÂ
Skills:
- Database experience
- Willingness to continuously improve the use of procedures & technology systems
- SiD experience (ABE ) preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with Tops Pro, CASAS testing platform and instructor questions
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Big picture thinker with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience working with diverse populations preferred
- Microsoft, Mac, Chromebook and Google Suite experience
- Effective writing and verbal communication skills
Experience:
Working with database management in an educational setting
ABE experience preferred
