Speech-Language Pathologist
St. Peter Early Childhood Center, St. Peter, MN
Full-time Position Beginning August 2024

Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at the St. Peter Early Childhood Center. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication skills.

  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with identified speech or language disorders.

  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students’ communication needs are met.

  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular meetings and professional development activities.

  • Advocate for the communication needs of students and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Current Minnesota state license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for licensure.

  • Experience working with young children with a variety of speech and language disorders.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

  • Experience with assistive technology and augmentative communication devices.
