East Grand Forks ISD 595 is currently accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Speech and Language Pathologist for the reaminder of the 2023-24 school year and beyond.Â

East Grand Forks, MN is a city with a population of approximately 8,500 and located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota. It borders Grand Forks, ND and is very close to the University of North Dakota and Northland Community and Technical College. The district’s K-12 enrollment is approximately 1,900 students and there are four separate school buildings housing grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.Â

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in speech language pathology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Minnesota licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.

Other Skills and Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of speech and language diagnosis and therapy principles, practices and procedures; thorough knowledge of casework methods and procedures; thorough knowledge of local, state and federal resources, programs, procedures, laws, rules and regulations; skill in using computer equipment; ability to conduct interviews, assessments and diagnosis effectively and analyze needs and problems objectively; ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, students, parents, staff and administration and the general public. Maintain the confidentiality of all information regarding students and staff. Reliable and consistent attendance.
