Speech and Language Pathologist

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Building Principal and guidance of the Special Education Coordinator, the Speech and Language Pathologist is responsible for providing speech and language therapy services directly to qualifying students in the areas of language, articulation, fluency, and voice.  The teacher will conduct speech and language assessments of student needs; interpret informal and standardized communicative measures; serve on multidisciplinary teams; and participate in the development of individualized educational plans for students with eligible communicative needs.  Please see the attached job description for additional information. 

License Requirements: 

  • Requires a minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or closely related field and a minimum of a completion of assigned internship/clinical experience associated with Speech & Language Program Licensed by the State of MN in Speech and Language Pathology.  
  • Certificate in Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
