1.0 FTE Special Education (SpEd) Teacher for mulitple Elementary vacancies for the 2025-26 school year.
Job Summary:
Deliver direct and indirect Special Education services to students in a resource room setting, monitor progress on IEP goals and objectives, follow due process and IEP procedures and manage the paperwork, communicate effectively with families and staff, develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans, direct the work of Paraeducator(s).
Provide instruction in content area in accordance with each student’s ability, create a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establish effective working relationships with students and parents, work collaboratively with other staff members.
Education/Training/Experience:
- MN teaching licensure in Special Education; the District may consider a Tier 1 or Tier 2 licensed candidate
- Experience working with a variety of disabilities and the ability to deliver specialized instruction to meet the individual needs of these students
- Preference to individuals with experience supporting students with EBD, ASD and/or OHD
- Training for specific needs of the students in the program will be provided by the District
- Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction

Salary can range anywhere between $50,000 to $118,444 depending upon education level and experience.
