Applications are being accepted for positions to begin in the 2024-25 school year.  Applicants must be licensed by the Minnesota PELSB to teach one or more of the following special education areas:
 
ACADEMIC AND BEHAVIORAL STRATEGIST
AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS
DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
EMOTIONAL BEHAVIOR DISORDERS
LEARNING DISABILITIES

We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, particularly in areas such as deaf education, childcare, special education, and childhood development. Experience with lesson planning, mentoring, and proofreading is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
– Provide support and accommodations to ensure students’ academic success
– Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to create a supportive learning environment
– Utilize various teaching methods to engage students with diverse learning needs
– Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
– Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment for all students

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
– State certification in Special Education or able to obtain special permissions.
– Experience working with students with disabilities
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
