Summary

United South Central School District is seeking a 1.0 FTE Special Education teacher for the 2025-26 school year. Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with students, willing to learn and ask questions as needed, and a team player.

Description

The United South Central School District aims to assist teachers with their professional growth and development as educators. USC schools offer:

  • High-Quality Teacher Mentoring: Ongoing support through a formal mentorship process and scholarly professional learning opportunities. Our local education cooperative (Southern Plains) also provides robust and in-depth mentorship for special education teachers. 

  • New Teacher Onboarding: Two days of training and induction for new teachers to USC.

  • Professional Development: USC strives to provide numerous opportunities (at no cost) for ongoing professional development and licensure. 

  • Teacher Development and Evaluation: USC utilizes the Marazano Art and Science of Teaching model to promote growth through the evaluation process. 

Competitive Salary and Benefits:
