Desired qualifications:
Licensure in ABS, ASD, SLD, DCD or EBD preferred
Understanding and experience in utilizing instructional best practices to engage students in learning
Understanding and experience in assessment and data-driven decision-making

Job Summary:
The certified special education teacher works with parent and regular education teachers to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs designed to support the growth of students receiving special education services. The teacher also develops lesson plans, conducts classroom instruction, and assesses both instructional material and student performance. The special education teacher interprets students progress and routinely communicates with parents and the IEP team to share student progress towards their goals, strengths, and growth areas.
