Description
This is a job level 4 ($20.10-$20.47 per hour), school term position at the Paul Bunyan Center. The schedule is 3.25 hours per day on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Special education paraprofessionals work under the direction of a teacher and a building administrator. They work with one or more students with various types of disabilities who need assistance in academic areas. Other duties may include helping to lift students, assist with physical needs such as toileting, and addressing behavior and/or emotional needs.
A minimum score of 460 on the ParaPro Assessment or two years of study at an institution of higher education (AA, AS, 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits) is required.
