The Passages Program serves students at our 401 Building in grades 9-12. Passages is an Emotional/Behavioral Program (EBD).Â
Description:
Special Education Paraprofessional, 7 hours a day for 183 Contract Days.Â
Â
Efficiently and effectively assist in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning program in a special education setting while working under the supervision of a supervising teacher. Performs support work assisting students in meeting educational, communication, emotional, physical and behavioral goals of special needs students. Works Individually or in small groups.Â

Pay & Benefits:Â
Starting pay at $18.85/hour with opportunity to earn up to an additional $4.80 per hour with our Wage Incentive Program. Competitive and comprehensive benefit package available

Job Summary:
Provide support by working directly with students to increase their academic, social/behavioral, communication, and study skills under the direction of the teacher(s).
Â
Qualifications:
•         High School diploma or GED equivalent, prefer 2 years of post-secondary training or AA degree in child development.
•         Experience working with students with significant disabilities is preferred, but not required. Â
•         Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) required. Training is offered by the school district.
•         Must pass a background check.
•         Capable of discretion/confidentiality.
