Special Education Paraprofessional (Adaptive Athletics Program)

Byron Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Special Education Paraprofessional to support Rochester Raider athlete(s) in the adaptive athletics program for the 2024-2025 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist student-athletes during daily practices (5:45 PM – 7:15 PM, Monday – Friday) and during home and away games.
• Provide support during transportation, including bus supervision and assisting with transitions between locations.
• Adapt to the specific needs of the student-athletes, ensuring their safety and well-being during all activities.
• Follow the Raiders athletics calendar, noting that game schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions.

Qualifications:

• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of students.
• Willingness to support student-athletes during both practices and games, including travel.
