 Special Education Bus Paraprofessional

LOCATION:

 Transportation

CLASSIFICATION:

 MSEA Level 2

RATE OF PAY:

 $20.30

HOURS PER DAY:

 6.5 hours/day 

START & ENDING TIME:

 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM (with break in between); will work AM shift only 1/13-1/17

WORKING DAYS PER YEAR:

 178 days/year 

PAID HOLIDAYS:

 6

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• CPR and first aid training within first 3 months of employment required.
• One year working with special needs children preferred.
• Willingness to work with and show respect for students with special needs.
• Knowledge of the district discipline policy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to establish a congenial relationship with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to effectively manage behavioral problems and reinforce student behavior plan.
