Spartan Camp Teachers

The Richfield Public School District has openings for the Spartan Camp Summer Program. Spartan Camp teachers will be providing instruction to students who are currently in grade 8 (rising 9th graders). This is a bridging program designed to help students get acquainted with high school teachers and staff as well as working on skills students need for a successful high school experience.  Spartan Camp will be located at Richfield High School.  Student hours will be 9:00-1:00, Monday through Thursday. Teacher hours will be 8:30-1:30. 

Spartan Camp 2023 Dates

Week 1:  June 26-June 29

Week 2:  July 10-July 13

Week 3:  July 17-July 20

*no summer programming the week of July 4th

*** To support the Spartan Camp teaching staff, professional development will be provided on June 15th.  Staff will be paid to attend this professional development date.

Requirements: 

 -Current teaching license 

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience teaching at the secondary level

-Experience teaching in summer programs

Licensed Summer Teachers will be paid $37.50/hr.
