Social Worker Summer Quest 2025

Effective Date:

Required In Person PD: June 11th and 12th

Session 1: June 16th -June 27th, holiday on June 19th

Session 2: July 7th – 18th

*Additional asynchronous PD in May.

Hours:
 4.25 paid hours per day 9:30-2:15
 30 minute unpaid lunch
 5 days per week (Monday – Friday)

Salary:
$39.29 – $42.65 per hour depending on years of experience working in BPS summer programming

Required Licensure:
   Current MN Social Work License

Preferred Experience: 
   Elementary experience and previous ALC/Targeted Services or Summer School experience
                                    
Major Responsibilities: 
Targeted Services is part of a system of support to ensure all students are successful on their pathway to graduation. Targeted Services provides new and different learning opportunities that actively engage the learner while building social emotional and academic skills. The purpose is to re-engage students and set them up for a more successful school year.

• Create an engaging and supportive environment that encourages students to attend and participate
• Provide support to identified students as well as students in crisis 
• Engage families in their child’s learning and support the culture and model of summer school
• Attend Professional Development
