Closing Date:  Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting. If additional applicants are needed and the posting is re-opened, subsequent submitted candidates will be reviewed upon submission closer to ESY programming dates. 

Salary Range/Hourly Rate: $40 hour

Dates of ESY:  June 11, 2025  (Set Up) and June 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30 for (ESY Programming)

Work Days/Times:  Proposed days: Mon-Fri per the ESY calendar; Proposed times: Secondary: 7:15 am-11:15 am; ECSE/Elementary: 8:45 am-12:45 pm  (Dates, times and location may change based on student and/or District needs)

Student Level: ECSE, Elementary and Secondary (as needed)

Proposed Site(s): ECSE/Elem (Birch-Lake Elem) and Middle, High School+ (Transition Education Center – Formerly Hugo Elementary). The final determination for the ESY site will be made closer to ESY programming.

Position Summary: The White Bear Lake Area Schools is currently seeking a Social Worker/Psychologist to work in our Extended School Year (ESY) program.  Performs professional work assessing and delivering instructional services to individual and small groups of students with social-emotional or behavioral needs. Work is performed under the limited supervision of Student Support Services Administrators.  

Education and /or Experience: Licensed as a School Psychologist or Social Worker. 

Special Requirements:

  • Minnesota Psychologist or Social Work License. 
  • Experience working with White Bear Lake Area Schools cluster programs preferred. 
  • ESY Experience (Preferred)
