Job Summary:
- Unloads and verifies food and supply deliveries against invoice or Purchase order. Â
- Organizes and stores food and supplies using an electric walk behind pallet jack or carts
- Coordinates and assists with outbound deliveries against load sheets.
- Completes daily food requisitions for all meal and snack programs. Â
- Prepares paperwork related to daily requisitions.
- Ensures proper food handling practices are followed including rotation of products
- Ability to Perform Frequent lifting, bending, pushing and pulling functions
- Ability to work in a Freezer/cooler and outdoor environments.
- Strong Organizational SkillsÂ
- Perform all other duties within the level of responsibility of the position as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:
- Experience in a public school kitchen and/or background in related food service operations.
- Knowledge of government guidelines and procedures concerning sanitation and safety.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must have completed or be willing to enroll and complete the Sanitation and Safety and the School Nutrition Programs courses for Minnesota School Food Services Certification.
- Regular, on-time attendance is required.
- Stooping, bending, occasional awkward positions may be necessary to perform essential functions of the position. Must be able to lift 31-50 lbs.
- Obtain Electric walk behind pallet jack certification through district as part of employmentÂ
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- MN Certified Food Protection Manager Certificate preferred but not required.
