Position Information   
NRHEG Secondary School has an opening for a Secondary Math Teacher for Grades 7-12 for the 2024-25 school year.  Classes taught may include various required Math classes and some electives. Ability to teach College in the Schools preferred, but not required.
 
Qualifications
Hold a Minnesota teaching license in 7-12th grade Math or ability to attain
Ability to teach College in the Schools preferred, but not required.
Dedicated to positive student, staff, and parent relationships
Possess the ability to collaborate, consult and facilitate positive relationships with parents, staff and community
Possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
Possess knowledge of Differentiation, PBIS and RTI
Ability to work in a team approach
Understanding and experience in utilizing instructional best practices to engage students in academic, social, and emotional learning
Ability to use a variety of assessment strategies including diagnostic, formative and summative, to inform instructional decisions
 
Specific Responsibilities
Collaborative work in an energetic environment interacting with students, staff, administrators, parents, and the community with multiple requests and concerns.
Support and communicate with other administrators and staff.
Respond to emergency situations.
Know, interpret, and follow school District policies.

Demonstrated ability to operate a computer, software and necessary classroom technology.
Ability to develop effective and positive working relationships with students, staff, administrators, parents, and the community.
Maintain professional composure while dealing with a variety of personalities and situations.
Show initiative and function as a self-starter.
Effectively communicate and have interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
