About Becker District/School:  Becker School District is conveniently located off of US Hwy 10, just 20 minutes SE from St. Cloud and 45 minutes NW from the Twin Cities. The District consists of four buildings, all situated on a single, cohesive campus and serves approximately 2,800 students – Primary School (K-2), Intermediate School (3-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12). Position Summary: Becker Middle School is seeking passionate and dedicated applicants for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Middle School Science Instructor position, starting with the 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Life Science to 7th-grade students.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a current Minnesota Teaching License in the appropriate field or be on track to receive one by September 2024.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

  • A passion for learning, effective classroom management skills, and strong organizational abilities.

  • Ability to collaborate with students, parents, and the community to foster a positive and productive educational experience.

Role Overview: The primary responsibility will be teaching Life Science to 7th-grade students. The candidate will work closely with colleagues to prepare, engage, educate, empower, and inspire all learners, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed in today’s and tomorrow’s society.
