Science Bowl

Description of activity: A competitive event in which students are quizzed on multiple choice and short answer questions in the categories of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth and Space, Energy and Math. For general information, visit the Minnesota Regional Science Bowl website.

Length of season: ASAP through early February; post-season nationals at end of April.

Meeting times: Once a week after school for 1 hour.

Meeting site: East Middle School

Responsibilities include:

• Leading students in Science Bowl preparation 
• Organization of necessary competition details

Selection Procedure:  Position is open only to WEA employees through November 29, 2024. If no internal candidates are selected, external candidates will be considered.  Position will remain open until filled.

Stipend:  This position receives a stipend of $1258.
