School Grounds Student Assistant Manager

Requirements: 

• Must have completed one semester as a School Grounds Employee in good standing
• Must have 5th hour availability without the need for credit

Wage: Casual position starting at $15/hour

Start Date:  As soon as possible and for the duration of the semester

Location: White Bear Lake Area High School – School Grounds Coffee Shop

Application Closing Date: 1/26/2025

Essential Functions: Assist in managing student employees and daily closing tasks, including, but not limited to:

• Helping school grounds employees learn drink recipes and procedures
• Train students on ringing up drinks correctly using the POS system
• Helping on bar, register or supporting duties when School Grounds is open (refilling ice, swapping out empty syrups, refilling cups and lids, etc)
• Completing, delegating and managing closing duties, with the help of school grounds employees, such as:
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all dishes
  • Running the cleaning cycle on the espresso machines
  • Cleaning and sanitizing counter tops
  • Wiping down syrups
  • Emptying the cold brew station
  • Emptying the drip coffee pots
• Perform other duties as assigned such as inventory, restocking and organizing
