Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid Minnesota license with clean driving record
Successful completion of DOT physical exam
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to pass a pre employment drug & alcohol screen

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Successful candidates must be able to work split shift; have skills and aptitude to operate a bus safely; enjoy the presence of children; be reliable and punctual.
No experience required – paid training provided to obtain necessary license and endorsements. DOT Physical and drug testing are required.

Specific Tasks:
To safely and efficiently transport students to and from their school site and/or special events. Most Drivers depart approximately 6:00 a.m. and return about 9:00 a.m. and depart again approximately 1:30 pm and return around 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon.  See the job description for additional information.
Hours per day:
4-6 hours per day.
As per Bus Driver Agreement
Route Driver Hourly Rate: $26.50/hour, Activity/Dept Driver Hourly Rate: $21.25/hour
$500 Hiring incentive for new hires:Â
- Bus Driver: New employee is paid out $500 when the new employee has worked for 6 consecutive months
- Incentive does not apply to substitutesÂ
- Rehires must have one year break in service to be eligible for hiring incentive
