Primary Responsibilities:Â
Ready to Grow, Ready to Learn is looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented individual with a strong knowledge of Early Childhood Education to lead one of our Preschool classrooms. This position leads the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate and culturally relevant learning experiences to support the growth and development of children between the ages of 6 weeks through 5 years of age. Responsibilities include building strong relationships through positive adult-child interactions, supporting children’s learning goals and conducting authentic assessment, upholding program expectations through supervision and mentoring of team members, and participating in program and community events.
The ability to communicate effectively, problem-solve efficiently, collaborate with others, and demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and flexibility through a positive approach to daily work is essential to success in this position.
Qualifications:Â
- A degree in Early Childhood education or related field is preferred.Â
- A minimum of 24 credits in Early Childhood.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a Licensed Child Care setting
- Experience working with children 6 weeks to 5 years of age
