Description
Job Description: Registered Nurse position at McKinley Early Childhood Center to provide nursing assistance to students. RN’s are employed full-time for 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week between late August and early June; serving McKinley Early Childhood students. Additional summer opportunities are available. The position commences on approximately 8/21/23 with the start of the 23-24 school year.
Qualifications: The Registered Nurse position will provide on-site hands on management of routine and emergency health concerns as they arise according to district policy and guidelines and state law. Daily distribution of student’s medications, maintenance of student health records and to provide on-going communication with parents, teachers, specialists, principals, and the health service coordinator. Ability to collect and report data as directed by the case manager. Must be well-organized and willing to work as a team; and be comfortable with using the computer. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Licensure: RN with CPR and First Aid Training
