Required
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong communication and human relations skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve, work with and gain input from community groups
- Effective management and organizational skills as well as negotiating and processing skills
Preferred
- Bilingual

POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is to recruit new volunteers to the Adult Basic Education program, form effective community partnerships from which to elicit new volunteers, manage current volunteers and their required trainings, and to act as the advisor to Adult Education State Standard Adult Diploma students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Recruit volunteers
- Ensure volunteers are completing mandatory training requirements
- Participate in yearly Adult Education Graduation and Volunteer Recognition Ceremony
- Secure and maintain confidential client/participant and staff records
- Develop community/school partnerships
- Compile and record statistical data for reports
- Attend professional development to enhance skills and program quality
- Develop yearly program goals with Executive Director and Supervisor
- Coordinate additional projects as requested by Supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
