Dassel-Cokato Community Education Pool Manager

Position:  Part-time, year-round pool manager for Dassel-Cokato Community Education and the aquatics program.  

Qualifications: Knowledge of aquatics programming and ability to oversee all programs in the department.   Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard Training Instructor certification preferred.  

Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing aquatics staff: adequate supervision of aquatics programming (including swim lessons, open swim, lap swim, etc.),  facilitating staff meetings/trainings, and promotion of Lifeguard/WSI/swim aide opportunities.  Work with staff to develop class management and customer service skills.

Skills: This position requires good communication and interpersonal skills to manage employees and customers. Must be a good organizer with the ability to recruit qualified lifeguards and water safety instructors, organize and maintain training schedules so current staff remain certified and coordinate swimming lessons and other aquatic programs.

Pay: monthly stipend
