Summary of duties:
● Provide Physical Education/Health instruction to students in grades 6-8 and 9-12
○ Physical Education
○ Health Education
○ Wellness
● Monitor progress and communicate with students and parents
● Develop a structured curriculum in agreement with Minnesota State Standards
● Plan and execute an engaging classroom experience for all students
● Actively engage in PBIS and Professional Development
● Small school environment with small class sizes
Compensation:
● Salary range to be negotiated, depending on experience and qualifications
Qualifications:
● Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, and work ethic
● Desire to mentor, inspire, and promote continuous growth in all students
● Flexibility to work in a non-traditional educational setting and a changing environment
● Ability to work independently, as well as participating in and leading teamwork
● Motivated and enterprising personality
● Comfortable using technology and familiar with Google Apps for Education
● Fluent in English
Preferred Background:
● Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education/Health Education and valid MN teaching license
● Experience in non-traditional educational settings
● Good classroom management skills
