POSITION AVAILABLE:  Physical Education Teacher – long term substitute
 

POSITION LOCATION:  Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC) with placement at the ELC-Cosmos.

 
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:  The Physical Education Teacher strives to develop students’ physical skills and abilities, strength, agility, poise, coordination, and teamwork; educates students’ understanding of the importance of exercise to physical and mental well-being; and to motivate students to work towards, physical fitness, hygiene, and good health.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment; licensure as a Physical Education Teacher preferred.  Valid driver’s license required.
 
CONTRACT/SALARY:  Long-term substitute PE Teacher position working approximately 35 days beginning 11/26/24.   Salary depending upon education, qualifications, abilities and experience.
