General Purpose of Job:  Perform work in the cleaning, maintenance and care of the ice arena.
 
Responsibilities:
  

  • Operating Zamboni to prepare and care for ice
  • Cleaning restrooms, lobby, bleachers, and other spills as required
  • Maintaining ice arena grounds including but not limited to shoveling snow, and removing trash debris from yard
  • Other like or comparables duties as assigned

Job Type:  Part time, Winter only. Approximately October 1, 2024 through March 25, 2025

Bargaining Unit:  Custodial

Salary Range:  $17.91/hr. 

Hours may vary based on operational needs. Generally evenings and/or weekends.

Background checks and/or drug screens are conducted upon receiving a conditional offer. Employees must complete a background check and are responsible for the background fee. A passing background is required.  Criminal convictions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The District and Department of Transportation (DOT) require passing of drug screenings for positions that require driving applicable district vehicles. Â
