North Lakes Academy is excited to announce an opening for a part-time band position working with enthusiastic grade 5 and 6 students! This role offers a fantastic opportunity to inspire and nurture young musicians in their musical journey.
Position Details:
- School Year: 2024-2025
- Role: 0.2 Band Instructor
- Start Date: August 19, 2024
- Target Grades: 5 and 6 students
- Responsibilities:
- Lead band rehearsals and practices.
- Instruct students on musical techniques and theory.
- Prepare students for performances and events.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Four-year degree related to music
- Teaching license preferred
- Experience working with children in a musical setting.
- Proficiency in playing and teaching various band instruments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
