Description
Season Dates: Â November 11, 2024Â – February 20, 2025
Duties: Assist the Varsity Head Coach with all aspects of the Spring Lake Park Nordic Ski program, including but not limited to setting up practices, meets, and schedules for the program; supervision of athletes at practices and meets.; care and maintenance of program equipment; arranging team transportation; working with booster club and regular meetings with other coaches to evaluate goals of the overall program. Must be able to adjust work schedule for practices and games.Â

Preferences:Â Â A BA/BS Degree and MN Teacher License with coaching certificate highly preferred.Â
Qualifications:  A strong background in high school, college, or competitive Nordic Skiing as a participant and/or coach is required.  Strong work ethic and dedication to furthering the benefits of participation in co-curricular activities. Leadership skills including but not limited to organization, vision, motivation, and conflict resolution. Ability to work with student athletes, parents, staff, and community. Previous experience as a athlete and/or coachÂ
