Paraprofessional – Rush City High School
Rush City High School is seeking a qualified individual to fill a Paraprofessional position. This role supports students with academic and/or emotional/behavioral needs and collaborates with staff to create a positive and effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students in academic and behavioral settings.
- Assist in implementing instructional and behavioral plans under the guidance of teaching staff.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Completion of at least two years of college (60 credits) or the ability to pass the Para Educator Assessment (available locally).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented approach.
- Experience working with students is preferred but not required.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 7 hours per day, Monday through Friday, aligned with student instructional days, plus designated staff training days.
- Compensation: $16.09–$23.25 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. Learn more abou this position here.
