Description
Position Information:
- Serve as Paraeducator – Long-Term Replacement
- Early Childhood Special Education – Early Learning – 4 year old preschool classroom
- Monday – Friday 7:50am – 3:05pm
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must pass local Academic Proficiency Exam or have taken at least 60 hours semester credits at post-secondary level
- Preferred experience working with children of differing abilities
- Preferred experience working with individuals with emotional, behavioral learning challenges, learning differences, and functional skills needs.
- Must possess good organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team approach
- CPR and First Aid training / certification preferred
- Educational qualifications: Equivalent of 2 years of college (AA degree) or passing score on Para Pro (460)
