PAC Technician

Qualifications/Experience:
This is an entry level position with training available. 

Techonolgy experience.
A successful background check is required if over 18. 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Good communication skills.  Basic computer skills.  Technical aptitude; Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.  Must be able to lift up to 45lbs

Specific Tasks:

Setup and operation of lighting, sound, & video projections for presentations and events in the PAC.  Typical tasks include turning on and adjusting stage lighting as needed for an event, controlling house lights, setting up wired and wireless microphones, operation of sound mixing console to maintain comfortable volume levels, setting up podiums and connecting laptops to the projector for presentations.

Hours Per Day:

Typical shift is about 4-8 hours including setup & strike time, and are mostly evenings and weekends. On average techs will be scheduled for 3-5 events per month during the school year; 1-2 events during summer months. Tech schedules are typically posted 1-2 months in advance.
