Job Summary:  This is a 7.0 hour per day (7.5 hour work day) position at Woodcrest Spanish Immersion Elementary in Spring Lake Park Schools. The position requires a person with strong collaborative and communication skills that is technologically savvy, self-directed, a team player, culturally aware, and responsible. The successful candidate will greet families and guests, answer phones and direct phone calls, assist with attendance, perform typical clerical duties in a school setting and provide student support throughout the building when needed. Â
Qualifications: Candidate must be able to handle confidential information, perform tasks proficiently while handling frequent interruptions, multi-task, and possess good communication skills. Candidate must have excellent customer service skills. Personal skills must include a professional, friendly, positive, and cooperative work style and the ability to work with many types of people in various circumstances. Previous clerical experience (office management, secretarial, or book keeping) in an education setting preferred, as well as above average word processing/keyboarding and other clerical skills. Extensive background in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Infinite Campus. Â
Bilingual candidates preferred (Spanish/English).
Position Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Pay per paraprofessional contractÂ
