Description
Position Descriptions/Qualifications:
- Assists the principal in compiling and distributing the yearly budget for the general fund and capital orders. Effectively processes all ordering that occurs in the building to include establishing requisitions and purchase orders, receiving merchandise, following up on billing discrepancies, requesting checks from the district office, recording petty cash transactions, and handling all financial processes on the district’s financial program.
- Successfully serves as the building’s automated sub calling system administrator which includes training teachers on the system, assisting staff with any emergencies during work hours, modifying information on the system, developing and maintaining a list of requested substitutes, greeting substitutes and providing them with needed information, insuring that appropriate sub forms are filled out properly, etc.
- Successfully instructs and trains building staff on the district’s telephone system including voice mail to assure calls are directed, redirected, and handled in a proper manner.
- Effectively serves as the communications link (verbal and written, paper and electronic) between the principal, staff, district office, students, individual parents, the school’s parent organization, and visitors.
- Successfully coordinates with Community Education and outside organizations by scheduling before/after school building requests while also coordinating all school activities occurring during the school day.
- Efficiently prepares, composes, processes, and distributes written correspondence for the principal.
- Cordially and effectively greets all students, parents, staff and visitors in the building and successfully handles all questions and requests made by them.
- Efficiently answers phone calls by responding to requests for information or directing callers to appropriate personnel.
- Efficiently collects and processes clerical timesheets and absence cards.

- 8 hours per day
- 261Â days per year (includes 12 paid holidays)
- Start/End Times: 6:30Â AM – 3:00Â PM

Pay Range/Classification:Â
- $21.88Â – $25.99Â per hour depending on experience (Subject to change with the completion of the 2023-25 LEAF contract)
- Position classified as B-2-3 in LEAF contract
