WORK HOURS:
6.0 hours per day (7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.), Monday through Friday, for 207 contract days plus 10 holidays per school year.
JOB DUTIES:
– Provide general office support and knowledgeable, professional, administrative services, to staff, parents and community in an efficient, timely, and courteous manner
– Work with data and spreadsheets to verify information
– Prepare reports
– File information
– Coordinate meetings and events
– Collaborate with staff
– Coordinate volunteers
–Â Support students and assist administration with behavior issues
– Cross-train in other administrative assistant duties
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets (Microsoft Office preferred), Google docs
– Experience with Skyward Student and special education forms preferred
– Able to multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced office with co-workers, parents, students, community members, and staff
– Attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines
–Â High school diploma/GED required
–Â Post-secondary education and previous bookkeeping experience preferred
SALARY and BENEFITS:
Salary based on the 2023-2025 Administrative Assistant and Cashier Employees Agreement Level AA2 starting at $20.22 to $22.43 per hour based on experience.
