Summary

Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students with needs in order for them to improve specific areas of sensory-motor function. This is a full-time position. S/he will report to the district Special Education Director/Coordinator.

Description

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • administers assessments and perform evaluations; create intervention and treatment plan
  • IEP planning and implementation; discharge planning
  • maintain student records; complete any related documentation for students receiving services
  • communication, consult and collaborate with teachers, related service providers and families
  • provide training for special education paraprofessionals and others as appropriate, in carrying out activities designed to enhance student’s physical, motor and sensory development and function

Qualifications:

  • A valid special education license issued by the Minnesota Department of Education
  • At least 1 years experience in a school setting
