Description
Long term sub needed to provide Occupational Therapy services to students from 04/24/25 through 10/06/2025.
Responsibilities:
- Identify the needs of students with disabilities through appropriate evaluation procedures
- Plan, develop and implement approrpriate interventions to support student progress
- Collaborate in the development of IEP’s and IFSP’s
- Communicate with students, parents and staff to support student progress
- Moniror student progress and collaborate with teams to implement best practices
- Maintain records accurately as required by state laws and district policies
- Complete Third Party Billing requirements for students who are eligible
- Attend department, district and parent meetings
- Travel to and from schools or community sites to provide school OT service
- Other job-related duties as assigned
Specific Qualifications or Licenses Required:
- Licensed in Occupational Therapy through the Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Ability to work as a part of an educational team
- Strong communication skills
- Previous work experience in a school setting or previous experience working with children is beneficial
