Minimum Requirements:
Must have appropriate licensure in Occupational Therapy through the Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice. Bachelor’s degree or higher in occupational therapy. Previous experience in a school setting preferred.

Qualifications:
- Ability to work as part of an educational team, including consulting with and coordinating with special education staff and general education teachers
- Experience in school setting and/or previous experience working with children
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents and staff
- Knowledge and experience identifying Assistive Technology needs and resources
 Responsibilities:
- Identify the needs of assigned students with disabilities through formal and informal assessments
- Plan, develop and implement appropriate lessons to ensure the achievement of student growth
- Communicate with students, parents and staff on regular basis on student progress
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust therapy strategies
- Update all necessary records accurately as required by laws, district policies and school regulations
- Attend department, school and parent meetings or functions
- Serve as district resource for Assistive Technology needs
- Other job-related duties as assigned
