Nutrition Employee I

Position Hours: 35 Hrs/Week, Monday – Friday, Following Student Contact Days
Location: South Ridge School, Culver, MN  
Wage: $16.72-$19/hour

Position Details:

Join our team as a Nutrition Employee I! This role involves preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals while ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met. You’ll assist with inventory, student account deposits, and provide support in the Nutrition Manager’s absence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve food according to menus and recipes.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and dining areas.

• Operate terminals for meal periods and manage student lunch lines.

• Handle laundry responsibilities and support inventory management.

• Adhere to OSHA, district policies, and federal health regulations.

     
Qualifications:

• Must hold a high school diploma or GED
• Must pass a pre-employment background check
• Previous experience in food service, customer service, and/or related area is strongly preferred
• Complete an MDH approved serve safe trainings during course of employment
