Salary: Â According to the Educational Assistant Work Agreement (Level II) Â $16.55
Supervisor of Position: Â Stacy Peikert, Director of Curriculum and Instruction
Qualifications: Bilingual, high school diploma or equivalent; valid MN Driver’s License or evidence of equivalent mobility.
Successful candidate will also be skilled in the following:
- Oral and written communication.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with school staff, students, and the public.
- Communicating and enforcing school policies and procedures.
- Supporting multilingual students in the classroom
- Communicating with families
- Performing general clerical and support tasks required in accordance with district and building procedures.
Summary of Duties.
- Works with multilingual students with work completion and general class directions
- Collaborates with English Language teacher, classroom teachers and principal
- Communicate with families to support students.
- Performs other duties of comparable level or type, as required.
Job Description: Â Educational Assistant-Elementary Building Monitor
Under the direction of the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, employee will work with different bilingual students and the English Language Department.
